Friday Journal

This week I learned a bunch. In Geometry class, we reviewed what we learned about circles and shapes inside of them, and how to figure out lengths of certain sides. Then we took a test on it, it was pretty hard. In English class, we finished Romeo and Juliet, and took our final test on it. I personally liked the ending because everyone that was important in the book died one after another. It was like a chain reaction... of death. In T.V. Production we finished filming what we needed for our final project. All that's left is to edit it and that should take a few days. Finally, in Biology class, we learned about the circulatory system and the respiratory system. What pissed me off though was that she gave us multiple worksheets to be done over the long weekend. Come on, give us a break! It's the freakin' weekend! Anyways....oh yeah, in Biology on Monday we are going to start dissecting a pig... oh yeah.

The next test in Biology is going to be very hard...very, very hard.

Friday Journal

This week I learned a bunch. In Geometry class, we just did some algebra problems to get ready for Algebra II. In English class, we took a vocabulary test, took a test on Act III of Romeo and Juliet, and read Act IV. It was a busy week. In T.V. Production, we started our final project, which is to create a music video to any song. It is going to be fun. Finally, in Biology, we learned about how all things on Earth are dependent on other things on Earth. It was really interesting.

I can tell the next Biology quiz/test is going to be really easy, the section is a piece of cake.

Friday Journal

This week I learned a bunch. In Geometry class, I didn't learn a lot because the teacher wasn't there for two days. All we did was review what we learned last week. In English class, we read Act III of Romeo and Juliet. Also on Friday we had a sub, and during class we watched a really boring movie. In T.V. Production class, we took notes on special effects and how to use them properly. In Biology class, we took notes on a chapter about vertebrates and invertebrates. It is sort of hard and sort of easy at the same time.

I can tell that there is going to be a hard project coming up in T.V. Production. It's going to suck!

This week I learned a bunch. In Geometry class, I learned about circles and how to find certain measures of it. In English class, we continued reading Romeo and Juliet, so far the book is starting to make more sense than it first did. In my T.V. Production class, we are doing the final rundown for our News Broadcast. We decided to call the News "The Vibe." In Biology class, I learned more phylums about plants and I'm going to have a test on them on Monday.

I hate tests on Mondays, I think its pointless, just make it on a Friday.

This week I learned a bunch. In Geometry class, I learned about different types of lines you can find in planes. In English class, I started reading Romeo and Juliet. It is very hard to understand so far, hopefully I will be able to understand it in future readings, before the end. In T.V. Production, I finished editing my stand-up broadcast for our News Broadcast Project that we are working on. This project includes the entire class in the broadcast, it's pretty hard so far. Finally, in Biology, I learned about the different phylums of all the kingdoms. I'm having a test on them on Monday. It's troublesome because I have to study on Sunday. That sucks.

Hopefully I will be able to understand Romeo and Juliet by the end of the story. Also, I hope I do well on the test on Monday. I hate Monday tests, they take up my weekend.

Friday Journal

This week I learned a lot. In Geometry class, I took a test on the formulas for different shapes. I beleive I did well on it. In English class, I read a short story and had a test on Friday on it and another short story. To me, it was a difficult test. In T.V. Production, I started on a new project and it is going to be the hardest project in that class this year. In Biology class, I learned more about evolution and the different theories that people had about it. I took a quiz on Thursday and another on Friday. I did good on the second one, but I don't know what I got on the first one. Hopefully I did well.

Biology this quarter is going to be full of Tests and Quizes.

This week I learned a bunch. In Geometry class, I learned how to find the surface area and the volume of various types of shapes. The only hard part about it was that I had to memorize 12 different formulas. In English class, I read another short story and learned some new vocabulary terms. In T.V. Production class, I am learning new terms that are to be used when we make our news broadcast. It is very difficult. In Biology class, I learned about evolution and the various hypotheses different scientists had about it.

I can tell this news broadcast is going to be a pain in my... neck.

This week I didn't really learn much. I didn't really learn much because this week I had FCAT. FCAT was easier than I expected, although it did take me almost the whole hour to finish each of the sessions. In Geometry class, we went over a worksheet about surface area. It was easy. In English, I worked on a packet about To Kill a Mockingbird. Also, I got another packet about our new project. Finally, in Biology, we only watched a video on Darwin and his theory of natural selection.

This week I learned a bunch. In Geometry, I learned how to find the surface area of right prisms. It was very easy to learn. In English, I continued reading this book and it is a little confusing so far. In T.V. Production, my teacher gave me a new project and I have to research on someone important to the production of movies. In Biology class, I learned more about Genetic Technology and the impacts it has on life and how we live it. Also, it impacts our future.

Biology is so complex, how can somebody learn it...?

This week I learned a bunch. In Geometry, I learned how to find angles of triangles just by knowing their side lengths. In English, we started to read a book called "To Kill a Mockingbird." So far the book is alright, its not great. In T.V. Production, I hosted and directed in a show. It was pretty cool. In Biology, I learned about Genome Technology and how it is used.

I can tell the test for the Biology stuff I covered is going to be very hard.

This week was full of learning. In my Geometry class, I learned about sine, cosine, and tanget and how to use them to find certain measures of triangle angles. In my English class, I learned how to make a website and put information on it. In my T.V. Production class, I directed alone for someone's project. Finally, in my Biology class, I learned about cancer and tumors and what they can do to your body, I took a quiz on it on Thursday. I believe I did well.

I can tell I'm going to like Biology.

This week I learned a bunch. In my Geometry class, I learned how to find the area of a circle, also the area of a sector of a cirlce, which is not the whole thing, but a section of it. In my English class, I learned about the Goddess Athena and Epic Similes. In my T.V. Production class, I learned how to edit movies and change the speed to make it seem faster or slower. Finally, in my Biology class, I learned who took the picture photo 51 and that it lead to the creation of the model of what DNA looks like. We had a test on this information Friday, and I believe I did well.

I can see I am going to be interested more in Biology than I thought.

This week I learned a bunch. In my Geometry class, I learned how to tell if two triangles are similar. In my English class, I learned about the Odyssey and the Gods. In my T.V. Production class, I learned how to direct ourselves. In my Biology class, I learned how to tell blood types.

I can tell my Biology class is going to be very interesting.

This week was an interesting week. In my Geometry class, my teacher welcomed us back with a quiz. This was frustrating for me, but luckily I knew everything that was on it. In my English class, we were welcomed back with a test. Again, lucky for me it was only a writing prompt. I hope I did well on it. In my T.V. Production class we are learning new positions and how to manage without the teacher. Finally, in my Biology class, we learned about Sickle Cell Anemia and about blood types. It was pretty interesting but yet confusing...

I hope I do well on the upcoming test on the blood types and Sickle Cell Anemia.

Friday Journal

This week I didn't learn alot. This whole week has just been review in all my classes because of the Exams that we have to take. In my Geometry class, we just reviewed Monday through Wednesday. Thursday I had my 9-weeks Exam for that class, and on Friday she gave me my score. I made a 92%. In my English class, we actually did some work. For me it was quite frustrating, but I did the work and turned everything in. The work included some essays and some work about a short segment we read out of a textbook. The rest of my classes we just reviewed and took exams. They weren't that difficult.

I hope I do well on my English and Biology Exams on Monday, I need an "A" in both of those Exams to maintain an "A" in those classes.

Friday Journal

This week I didn't learn a lot. There wasn't much to learn in my math class becuase my math teacher was settling us down becuase the break was coming up. Also, we were ahead of the other classes, so we had to let them catch up. In my English class, I presented my powerpoint to my class, and handed in the rest of the stuff from the project. I was glad that was over. Friday, we sort of watched the "Wizard of Oz." We had a fast-forwarded version though. In my Biology class, we took some notes on genetics and thats it. It wasn't a hard week, but that's good because break here I come!

I have to read some packet that my English teacher gave me, its not much and won't be a problem so I can do that. HAVE A GREAT BREAK MRS. CAPELLE!!!
